Dr. Robin McCormick, LMFT

Dr. Robin, Director of Clinical Operations at Bella Team, brings extensive academic credentials and diverse clinical expertise to her role. Since joining the organization in June 2022, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence in mental health services and education.

Her academic journey reflects a comprehensive understanding of both physical and mental wellness. Dr. Robin earned her undergraduate degree in Physical Education from the University of Central Florida, complemented by certifications in Health and Special Education. She holds two master's degrees: one in Counselor Education/Marriage and Family from Stetson University, and another in Sports Psychology from Capella University. Her academic achievements culminated in a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

As a licensed professional, Dr. Robin maintains specialized certifications in emotional manipulation and personality disorders, and is completing supervisory hours for family mediation. She currently serves as a Psychology professor at Eastern Florida State College, where she shares her expertise with the next generation of mental health professionals. Additionally, she conducts comprehensive assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, and giftedness, helping students secure appropriate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support their academic success.

Dr. Robin's clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of clients, including couples, families, individuals, athletes, and young adults. Her therapeutic philosophy centers on the belief that understanding is fundamental to change. She employs an integrated approach combining psychoeducation, strength-based strategies, solution-focused techniques, and systemic therapies to help clients achieve their goals.
