Lisa Casillas has extensive experience supporting individuals with diverse needs, using practical, strengths-based approaches to promote learning and growth. Lisa is a military spouse, grew up in a military family, is a former special educator with extensive experience in disability services, and is passionate about empowering clients through Choice Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Lisa understands firsthand the unique challenges individuals face when dealing with transition, stress, adapting to change, and navigating through life’s challenges. She is dedicated to helping clients gain greater personal responsibility, strengthen relationships, and make effective choices in line with their goals and values.

Utilizing Choice Theory, Lisa helps clients understand the motivations behind their behaviors and how to take ownership of positive change. She also integrates CBT techniques to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, manage emotional distress, and build practical coping skills.
